I WANT that complete version of Highway Star. Maybe she develops into a real character later, but right now she's a caricature at best and Scrappy-Doo from the live action movies at worst.

I am outright annoyed with the other Mao sister. So enjoying that we finally get to see Alex's family a bit. Amos is still the funniest and funnest character to watch since somewhere in S2. I'll miss the Prax and Amos buddy team, but Prax deserves to be out of the churn and happy.Īs for the Roci crew, I'm glad to see Holden got his shit back under control in the first six episodes only to lose it for a very understandable reason of seeing a dead guy randomly appearing only to him. Naomi's move to the Behemoth would make sense if they did something with her that wasn't just keeping her off the Roci for the sake of figuring out any other way to have the Roci enter the ring. I do enjoy the "humanity coming together hesitantly" approach of the various fleets but I wish they'd spent some episodes getting there, especially Chrisjen assuming the role of Secretary General when she was an unelected deputy undersecretary, Bobbi's reinstatement after she'd finally made peace with life beyond the uniform, and the OPA's formal recognition as a real government. This is made worse because it's not a season premiere time jump but a mid-season time jump.with several significant changes. I already have some issues with drastic time jumps at season breaks for shows that previously lacked such, and The Expanse is no different. This makes probably the most logical sense, and the episodes all seem to fit that.īut man was the transition between S3E6 and S3E7 fucking jarring. So admittedly, I've been watching in chunks of 3 (4 for the finale) in my binge introduction.
